Job summary

Tireco, Inc. in Purvis, MS is seeking a Distribution Center Lead responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating with management and customers, and maintaining a safe, organized facility.

You will lead team members in daily assignments, coach and train staff, and audit completed work to ensure accuracy. This role requires forklift operation, DOT compliance readiness, and strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years warehouse operations experience.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Valid standard driver’s license; some states require Class D; no CDL.
• Meet DOT requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be 21+; willing to cross state lines.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution center operations and lead team members in daily assignments.
• Audit completed tasks to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Coach and train staff on processes, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Operate equipment such as a forklift to pull orders, replenish stock, and load containers.
• Support safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
