Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a team to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with management and customers to maintain a safe, organized environment while coaching staff on standard procedures.

The role requires forklift experience, 2+ years in warehouse operations, and the ability to cross state lines for deliveries where needed. A valid license and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years warehouse operations experience.
• 2+ years forklift experience.
• Possess a valid standard driver's license – No CDL required.
• DOT compliance requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be 21+ and willing to cross state lines for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution center and coordinate with management, customers, and team members.
• Lead team in daily assignments and audit completed work for accuracy.
• Coach and train team members on processes, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Operate equipment such as a forklift to pull orders, replenish stock, load containers, and perform warehouse duties.
