Rural King is seeking a Warehouse Area Manager to assist the Warehouse Manager in directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services. This role supports a positive, people-first work environment and ensures safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• At least one year of warehouse leadership experience.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
• Ability to work independently without a supervisor
• Flexibility with hours; ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates
• Ability to complete computer-based training.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly.

• Assist receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
• Makes recommendations on employment status.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with the data storage system.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
• Establishing and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
• Operating forklift, pallet jack, and warehouse equipment.
• Ensure all quality and production goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
