Job summary

At Home Distribution Center Lead is responsible for training and directing team members to unload, sort, and load cartons efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will analyze KPIs, communicate across teams, and supervise shipping, receiving, and sorting to meet daily targets.

You will optimize labor deployment, support onboarding and ongoing training, and coach performance while championing safety. Experience in warehousing and leading teams is required.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years warehousing experience.
• Previous Lead experience.
• Ability to lead others in a positive work environment.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English - read, write and speak.
• Learns quickly and adapts to changing needs.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead KPI-driven performance discussions and drive improvements.
• Ensure clear shift handovers and open communication with all stakeholders.
• Supervise shipping, receiving, and sorting to meet targets.
• Balance workloads and adjust labor deployment in real time.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training for associates.
• Provide coaching and constructive feedback to the team.
• Identify and resolve operational issues using KPI data.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce protocols.
• Coordinate automation activities with AGVs/AMRs and related equipment.
