Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking an HR Generalist to support Distribution Center operations and team members. The role covers employee relations, training, recruiting for hourly and technical positions, payroll-related processing, and compliance with wage and hour laws.

Requirements include 1–3 years of HR experience and a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field. Kronos/ADP knowledge is a plus; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Partner with team members and management to communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
• Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to management for corrective action and continuous improvement.
• Respond to employee relations issues such as complaints, payroll, and/or benefits issues.
• Assist HR Manager, Operations and SSC Compliance Department on unemployment claims.
• Facilitate and/or provide training to DC team members.
• Maintain and coordinate team member recognition programs.
• Recruit applicants to fill hourly and technical openings by reviewing applications and interviewing.
• Maintain relationships with DC team members and enforce policy compliance on wages, hours, and working conditions.
• Investigate safety issues and violations with management.
