What you'll do:

Lead the distribution process partner with Commercial, Inventory Strategy, Engineering, and plant operations to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Own capacity, labor, and slotting plans for the distribution center against a forward demand view, including regulatory compliance-driven surges, and partner with Commercial and Inventory Strategy to convert that view into inbound and staffing readiness.

Own a safe workplace and processed orders meet Trinity quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across all business processes

Own the proper receipt of purchased and transferred material, work vendor discrepancies to closure and provide inbound performance data (on-time versus original and recast dates, quality, shortages) to Inventory Strategy to drive supplier accountability.

Own the effective movement of material within the operation and to regional distribution centers, subcontract manufacturers, internal Trinity customers and external customers

Own inventory accuracy and integrity, including cycle count performance, location control, quality, and loss prevention, and execute Inventory Strategy's stocking and disposition decisions.

Execute kitting, VMI, and consignment programs, including kit build quality, lead time, and inventory traceability.

Maintain inventory and shipment control that support channel segregation, intercompany transfers, and audit-ready traceability

Plan and prioritize customer shipments, assuring the efficient picking and processing of orders.

Own packaging, logistics, and facility operations: package order cost-effective to avoid product damage through customer receipt, plan and schedule logistics services, control freight costs and process freight claims, and ensure the facility and equipment are properly specified, maintained, and operated to minimize hazards and cost.

Manage an effective workforce, assuring compliance with HR standards and providing effective training and development
