Job summary

Trinity Rail Parts & Components is hiring a Distribution Center Director for the Fort Worth, TX facility. You will lead the DC operations, warehousing, and logistics, ensuring on-time shipments, inventory accuracy, and compliant processes.

Bring 8 years in distribution and materials management, strong ERP/WMS expertise, and proven leadership across cross-functional teams. Rail knowledge is a plus and customer-facing collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• BS Business or equivalent degree.
• 8 years' experience in distribution & materials management.
• Deep knowledge of ERP/WMS materials & logistics processes.
• Adept at engaging with stakeholders at every level.
• Experience working with commercial/customer facing-teams.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with kitting, VMI, or consignment programs.
• Experience with forecast-driven capacity and labor planning.
• Knowledge of rail industry and railcar products & parts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Distribution Center Operations and ensure orders meet delivery, quality, and service standards.
• Direct warehousing and logistics activities and coordinate all business functions for customer shipments.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant distribution center operations.
• Lead capacity, labor, and slotting plans aligned to forward demand and regulatory surges.
• Manage inbound materials, supplier performance, and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate movement of material within the operation to regional centers and customers.
• Support planning for packaging, freight, and cost control.
