Job summary

ReaderLink in Utah is seeking a Control Room Coordinator to organize and monitor workload within the distribution center and release work to picking areas. You will interact with the Warehouse team and IT/WCS systems to ensure smooth operations and timely production priorities.

The role requires flexible scheduling, including weekends on site or remotely, and a strong focus on data-driven decision making to maintain customer service levels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Moderate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required which may include working off shifts and weekends either on site or remotely.
• A minimum of 1 year working with various data systems.

Responsibilities

• Release workloads, timely and accurately to maintain production capacity.
• Interact with Production Planner, Managers and Warehouse Supervisors to advise them of pending production requirements.
• Interface with Production Manager for reassignment of production personnel.
• Manipulate priorities to maintain customer service levels.
• Review historical production data to recommend personnel requirements.
• Monitor current progress of picking activities and report potential shortfalls.
• Coordinate with the order management department to align work schedules and production priorities.
• Communicate potential service level shortfalls to the Production Planner.
• Assign bins and manage related resources.
• Track labels, tape, first aid supplies, janitorial supplies, knives, gloves, printer supplies, paper, and other items as needed.
