Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor in Salt Lake City to oversee multiple departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment.

You will provide direction and motivation to warehouse associates while focusing on safety, productivity, and quality, monitor productivity, train staff, and coordinate with teams to meet production and delivery goals. Travel is typically under 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience in a distribution center.
2+ years of experience in a lead or mentorship role.

Responsibilities

Monitors productivity of warehouse associates and balances workload to meet production and delivery goals.
Provides training, tools, and equipment for warehouse associates to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Acts as point-of-contact for escalated issues and ensures warehousing functions run smoothly.
Identifies process improvements to enhance DC performance and department effectiveness.
Evaluates the DC’s alignment for efficiency and inventory management.
Ensures associates maintain clean work areas and follow safety policies.
Completes appropriate paperwork and productivity reports.
Guides a group or team of support, craft, or lower level professional associates.
