The role focuses on deep cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas under supervision, ensuring safe operations in line with company policies. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, surfaces, operating cleaning equipment, handling chemicals per guidelines, attending safety meetings, and supporting security and hazard reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Comfort working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors, furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, windows, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and dispose of debris.
• Safely use and mix cleaning chemicals per instructions.
• Operate floor scrubbers and industrial vacuums.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed using hand trucks.
• Maintain janitorial supplies and keep closets organized.
• Follow OSHA, company, and local safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
• Attend safety meetings and hazard assessments.
• Assist with building security and safety tasks.
• Work around powered equipment and in tight/confined spaces; may use ladders.
• Perform pest-control tasks when required.
• Perform other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
