Job summary

Dollar Tree Distribution Center in Ohio is seeking a Distribution Center Cleaner to perform deep cleaning and daily upkeep under supervision. You will clean floors, surfaces, and equipment, following safety rules and using approved cleaners.

This role requires physical ability, reliability, and basic reading of instructions; you may work evenings or weekends as needed and participate in safety trainings and hazard assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Preferred but not required: 1 year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Dusts and washes furniture, walls, machines, ceilings, and equipment.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
• May remove stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaners.
• Uses and mixes cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and company standards safely.
• Removes debris and empties trash; cleans and polishes fixtures.
• Cleans interior glass and mirrors with cleaners; applies OSHA safety practices.
• Monitors safety and security; may perform basic repairs if needed.
• Operates floor scrubbing equipment and maintains janitorial stations.
