Qualifications

• GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience gained in the administrative, investigative, or loss prevention fields.
• SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related academic study above high school level may substitute for nine months of experience, up to four years of bachelor degree for three years of general experience.
• SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of progressively responsible experience in retail loss prevention with analytical, planning, advisory, or investigative work.

Responsibilities

• PHYSICAL SECURITY: Evaluate security procedures and propose improvements; ensure security around perimeter.
• SECURITY EQUIPMENT EXPERTISE: Support CCTV, access control, fire/intrusion systems throughout the DC.
• INVESTIGATION AND INTERVIEWS: Assist in investigations and interviews related to shortages with Loss Prevention.
• INVENTORY CONTROL: Coordinate inventory control programs from origin to distribution to store receiving.
• SAFETY: Administer safety programs and ensure OSHA/DoD code compliance in the DC.
• MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS: Collaborate on special projects with DC management and Loss Prevention.
• REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Report to Loss Prevention Director with dotted line to DC Director.
