Staff Perm is seeking a Distribution Associate II to support warehouse distribution at our Farmingdale, NY facility. The role involves sit-down forklift operation, general shipping/receiving duties and clerical tasks under supervision. A reliable team member with forklift experience is preferred.

Location is Farmingdale, NY 11735 with a 7:30am–4:30pm schedule and a pay rate of $22 per hour. A high school diploma or GED and background checks are required for consideration.

Distribution Associate II- Sitdown Forklift

Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse, forklift, shipping / receiving experience. LOCATION: Farmingdale, NY 11735

POSITION: Right to Hire

PAY RATE: 22.00 hour

HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (may be adjusted by truck arrival)

DUTIES:

• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a high school diploma or GED - Required
• Forklift - basiloid experience preferred- sit down electric
• SAP Experience is HIGHLY highly preferred

• Steel Toe Boots
• Drug Test
• Background Check

ABILITIES:

• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
