Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Distribution Associate II to support warehouse distribution at our Farmingdale, NY facility. The role involves sit-down forklift operation, general shipping/receiving duties and clerical tasks under supervision. A reliable team member with forklift experience is preferred.

Location is Farmingdale, NY 11735 with a 7:30am–4:30pm schedule and a pay rate of $22 per hour. A high school diploma or GED and background checks are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience preferred (sit-down electric).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment such as forklift.
• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials.
• Receive goods, verify against shipment records and inspect condition.
• Gathers, verifies and packs items for shipment and records items shipped/received.
• Route materials to inspection or stock areas and complete documentation.
• Adhere to established procedures for shipping, receiving and inventory control.
