Job summary

ImpactLife is seeking a full-time Inventory Management and Distribution Associate in Peoria, IL. You will handle routine and emergency orders, provide excellent customer service, and communicate with hospitals to ensure timely delivery of life-saving blood products.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shift is 2 pm–10 pm, 4–5 days per week, with every other weekend, and training on alternate shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management, hospital customer relations, or logistics is preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff.
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities.

Our Inventory Management and Distribution (IMD) Associates communicate daily with our partner hospitals regarding blood product inventory and patient needs. Associates document orders and prepare shipments of life‑saving blood products for delivery to our hospital clients as well as emergency and restocking deliveries to other ImpactLife locations.

This is a full‑time status working between 30 to 39 hours a week position working 4 to 5 days a week 2 pm to 10 pm with every other weekend rotation. Would require you to train on alternative shifts for 6 to 8 weeks.

Associate Responsibilities Can Include

• Fill routine and emergency orders while following appropriate procedures ensuring accurate order entry and fulfillment.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Maintain positive and professional communications.
• Assist hospital personnel with inquiries.
• Track and rotate inventory of blood products.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns.

What does it take to change the world?

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management, hospital customer relations, or logistics is preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff (paid and volunteer).
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a REAL ID
• Must be able to operate Blood Center vehicles.
• Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, and maintain regular and reoccurring physical exertion such as reaching, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pre‑employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report are required.
