Job summary

Mayzo Operations Center in Walterboro, SC is hiring a Distribution & Production Specialist for the 2nd shift (7:00pm–7:00am). The role combines warehouse distribution with light production tasks, including receiving materials, preparing shipments, and supporting production activities.

You will ensure accurate records, safety compliance, and high-quality service while collaborating with the Production Manager and team to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to five years of warehouse, manufacturing, production, or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (or the ability to obtain certification).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform light chemical production activities, including repackaging, relabeling, blending, and mixing under the direction of the Production Manager.
• Operate production equipment and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records as required.
• Unload inbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material-handling equipment.
• Verify incoming materials against shipping documentation and report any discrepancies.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and notify management of any issues.
• Pick inventory and prepare customer orders in accordance with customer specifications and ISO procedures.
• Package and stage outbound shipments.
• Load outbound shipments using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Report all safety incidents, hazards, and near misses immediately.
• Maintain a strong safety-first mindset while working around chemicals and heavy equipment.
• Support compliance with ISO standards and company quality procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory through proper material handling and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support warehouse and production operations as business needs require.

Overview
