Job summary

Mayzo, Inc. is seeking a Distribution & Production Specialist at its Walterboro, SC location. This full-time role covers warehouse distribution and light production tasks, including receiving materials, preparing shipments, and assisting with production activities.

You will help maintain product quality, process accuracy, and exceptional customer service while complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of warehouse, manufacturing, production or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform light chemical production activities, including repackaging, relabeling, blending, and mixing under the direction of the Production Manager.
• Operate production equipment and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records as required.
• Unload inbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material-handling equipment.
• Verify incoming materials against shipping documentation and report discrepancies.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and notify management of any issues.
• Pick inventory and prepare customer orders in accordance with customer specifications and ISO procedures.
• Package and stage outbound shipments.
• Load outbound shipments using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Report safety incidents, hazards, and near misses immediately.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset around chemicals and heavy equipment.
• Support ISO standards and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper material handling and documentation.
• Keep a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Support warehouse and production operations as needed.

About The Role

Type: Full Time, Mon-Thurs, 7:00am to 5:00pm, Fri 7:00am to 11:00am

Overview

In this hands-on role, you will support both warehouse distribution and light production operations by receiving materials, preparing customer shipments, and assisting with production activities. Your work will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, product quality, and exceptional customer service.

Duties And Responsibilities

Production

• Perform light chemical production activities, including repackaging, relabeling, blending, and mixing under the direction of the Production Manager.
