Job summary

AAR in Wood Dale, IL is hiring a Product Strategy Analyst III, an entry-level analytics role supporting Distribution. You will deliver foundational data analysis, reporting, and financial evaluation, collaborating with senior analysts and stakeholders to build skills in modeling and data systems.

You will participate in cross-functional projects, learn Distribution KPIs, and complete training on tools like SQL, Power BI, and Domo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field required.
• 0–2 years of analytics/finance/operations experience (internships acceptable).
• Exposure to data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Domo preferred.
• Experience with structured datasets or reporting environments preferred.
• Interest in analytics, pricing, forecasting, or strategy in Distribution/supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured data analysis to identify basic trends and patterns.
• Execute data cleaning and transformation tasks with partial oversight.
• Maintain and update recurring reports and dashboards for data accuracy.
• Develop familiarity with Distribution KPIs and metric definitions.
• Complete foundational training in core Distribution systems and tools (e.g., IMOPS, IFS, Concourse, Paarts Store, Domo, SQL, Power BI).
• Apply learned technical skills to small analytical tasks.
• Follow data structuring and governance frameworks; validate data accuracy before analysis.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with a learning mindset.
• Produce clear documentation, meeting notes, and basic analysis summaries.
• Provide task-level time estimates and escalate scope/timeline when needed.
