Job summary

Fulcrum seeks an experienced HR Manager to build and run the people function for a distributed workforce delivering data center QA, QC, and commissioning services. This hands-on role leads recruiting, employee support, HR systems, and consistent employment practices as the company grows.

Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, onboarding through 90 days, benefits and leave administration, payroll coordination, and cross-functional partnership with Operations, IT, and Safety to align

Qualifications

• At least five years of progressive HR experience with hands-on recruiting, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, and HR systems ownership.
• Experience supporting a distributed, multi-state workforce and advising supervisors.
• Ability to recruit technical or field personnel and manage multiple vacancies concurrently.
• Strong judgment, discretion, writing, documentation, and analytical skills; policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for inspectors, commissioning staff, project leadership, and corporate roles.
• Own onboarding through the first 90 days: documentation, verification, background checks, and benefits enrollment.
• Serve as the first contact for employee concerns and conduct investigations when needed.
• Coordinate benefits, leave, payroll inputs, and alignment with Finance and payroll processes.
• Manage HR systems, reporting, and policy templates; ensure compliance across states.
• Support performance development, training coordination, and workforce planning.
