Job summary

Horizon Hobby, LLC in Champaign, IL is seeking a Supply Planner for Distributed Brands to oversee inventory lifecycle and supplier relations. This on-site role partners with distribution centers, sales and marketing to optimize brand performance and product availability.

The position requires 2–5 years in related planning, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work across diverse teams. A CPIM certification is a plus; base pay is stated with potential bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; will accept related experience.
• 2-5 years in inventory and supply planning, project management, purchasing, or performance management.
• Logical thinker with strong organization and communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel required.
• Able to influence across teams and external suppliers.
• Comfortable working with diverse cultures; flexible with time zones.
• Capable of using Oracle Fusion Cloud for planning processes.
• CPIM accreditation or similar certification is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, monitor and manage targets for service quality and product availability.
• Utilize reporting and analytics to drive corrective actions and improvements.
• Weekly review of category items and brands fill rate and stock levels.
• Identify stockouts, ETA for back-in-stock, and recurring shortages.
• Create, track and manage purchase orders from need to payment.
• Monitor PO status; follow up on past-due orders and fulfillments.
