Job summary

Horizon Hobby, located in Champaign, IL, is seeking a Proprietary Supply Planner to monitor inventory lifecycle and manage supplier relationships. The role collaborates with distribution, logistics, sales and marketing to maximize brand success.

Typical annual pay ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 with potential bonus opportunities. Requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 2–5 years in inventory or supply planning; Excel proficiency and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or Finance.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in inventory and supply planning, project management, purchasing or supply performance management.
• Must be logical, organized, and have good communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel is required.
• Able to work across business operations teams and influence stakeholders.
• CPIM accreditation or other relevant certification would be a plus.
• Experience using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor service quality, product availability, and performance targets.
• Use analytics to identify corrective actions and drive process improvements.
• Review fill rates and stock status weekly and address shortages.
• Create and track POs from need identification to payment.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory and lifecycle.
