Job summary

Horizon Hobby, LLC in Champaign, IL is hiring a Proprietary Supply Planner for a full-time, on-site role. The position involves monitoring inventory lifecycle for proprietary and nonproprietary products, coordinating with suppliers, and working with distribution centers, logistics, sales and marketing to maximize brand success.

Typical pay is $50,000-$60,000 annually, with a potential bonus not included in the base pay. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Project Management or Finance preferred
• 2–5 years in inventory and supply planning, purchasing or performance management
• Strong organizational and communication skills, logical thinker
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP preferred
• CPIM certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor service quality, product availability, and performance targets
• Use analytics to identify corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Weekly review of category/items and brands fill rate and stock status
• Identify reasons for out-of-stock and ETA for back-in-stock
• Manage purchase orders from need identification to final payment
• Create Purchase Requisition or Purchase Order per parameters
• Communicate PO to vendors and follow up on shipment dates
• Monitor PO status and address past-due orders
• Receive goods and perform three-way matching
• Assist with shortages, overages, and defectives disposition
• Approve invoices in Oracle and monitor due dates
• Maintain supplier scorecards and coordinate monthly reviews
• Collaborate on process improvements and supplier negotiations
• Provide feedback to improve processes
