Job summary

CROWDSStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Distinguished Software Development Engineer for the CTIO team to enhance the Falcon Host sensor across Linux, Windows, and macOS.

You will drive core features, optimize performance, and mentor distributed teams while collaborating with multiple sensor groups. You’ll own end-to-end feature delivery, participate in sprint demos, and help shape the platform’s architecture with a focus on security, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C/C++.
• Extensive understanding of Linux, Windows, or Mac OS internals.
• Proven experience debugging memory corruption, process contentions, and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience delivering major features with cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate in a geographically distributed team.
• Experience using AI to improve decision-making and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sensor development teams on architecture and initiative.
• Conceptualize and develop new product features for cross-platform delivery.
• Guide and support teams in designing software for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Own features from design to delivery, including sprint demos.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with distributed teams.
