Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Architect to lead the modernization of our Digital Payments platform and drive cloud-first initiatives. You will mentor teams, set architectural direction, and collaborate with ML, product, and leadership peers to deliver scalable and operable systems.

The role requires deep expertise across the full SDLC, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering high-impact technology programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong foundation in software engineering and architecture.
• Minimum 7 years in software development and 7+ years in engineering/solution architecture.
• Experience with Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift preferred; full SDLC experience.
• Cloud technologies experience preferred (public or private).
• Networking exposure including BGP, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, data center networking.
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 7 years of experience in general software
• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift
• Preferred: 8+ years of experience across the full system development lifecycle
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies
• Preferred: 8+ years of experience with networking, including BGP, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, cloud networking, and data center networking
• Preferred: Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion
