Job summary

MGP Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Lux Row team in Bardstown, KY. You will perform routine maintenance on distillery equipment and troubleshoot PLCs and instrumentation, ensuring smooth operation of boilers, RO systems, chillers, and water softeners.

Qualified candidates bring at least 3 years in the food/beverage maintenance field, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. SOPs, GMPs, and safety come first in daily duties.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years in food/beverage maintenance.
Strong communication and multitasking.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Experience with GMP/SOP/Safety.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and routine maintenance per established schedules and requests.
Assist in maintaining and ensure proper operation of boiler, RO system, water softener, chiller and cooling tower.
Demonstrate knowledge to service and troubleshoot PLC and instrumentation.
Demonstrate knowledge of distillery equipment including pneumatics, pumps, hydraulics, valves, etc.
Demonstrate knowledge of 480v/277v, 208v/120v electrical systems.
