Job summary

MGP Ingredients is seeking a Maintenance Technician in St. Louis, MO to maximize line performance, perform changeovers, and conduct daily preventive maintenance on production equipment.

You will also maintain bottling equipment and contribute to plant reliability. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a production environment, hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot using root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in production environment (food/beverage preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical reasoning; able to interpret diagrams and schematics.
• Proven troubleshooting ability with root-cause analysis.
• Hands-on with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems; comfortable with tools.

Responsibilities

• Maximize line performance and perform changeovers; conduct daily preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment (welding, cutting, milling, turning, drilling).
• Diagnose issues, apply root-cause analysis, and implement fixes on production lines.
