Job summary

Raxium in Fremont, CA seeks an engineer to lead the design, deployment, and validation of optoelectronics test systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will work hands-on with test hardware, software, and data pipelines, plus scripting in SQL or Python.

Collaborate with contract manufacturers and cross-functional teams to optimize metrology workflows, mentor junior staff, and drive scalable test strategies in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in optoelectronics test, display metrology, or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• 4 years of experience deploying, validating, and debugging semiconductor hardware test systems.
• 4 years of experience writing and debugging test system software.
• Experience scripting in SQL or Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and validation of optoelectronics test systems in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Develop and debug test software and hardware integrations to improve yield and throughput.
• Collaborate with internal teams and CM partners to optimize metrology workflows and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional partners on test strategies.
