Job summary

DyStar in Reidsville, NC, is seeking an experienced Dispersions Specialist to support production, scale from lab to full production, and collaborate with the Quality Lab Manager. This on-site role requires strong technical and operational skills in dispersions manufacturing.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Chemistry or related field with 8+ years in dispersions production and QC, plus experience scaling processes from lab to technical scale and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• BS Chemistry, Chemical / Process Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant Experience in Production and Quality Control of Dispersions by Physical Operations (Dispersing and Wet Milling).
• 5+ Years experience in supervision of production processes to guarantee best possible output, quality, and costs.
• Experience in scale-up of production processes from Lab to technical scale.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and operational support for production of Dispersions at Reidsville site.
• Develops new product items from lab sizes over scale up from pilot trials until implementation in the technical plant set-up.
• Acts as liaison between Quality Control and Production operations.
• Improves existing production processes to reduce cost, increase reliability, purity, safety, and sustainability.
