Responsibilities

• Working as a collaborative team member to meet the service goals of the pharmacy
• Create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers and providing quick and efficient service
• Accurately enter patient information into the pharmacy database to assist with proper billing
• Maintain a safe pharmacy environment by adhering to health code guidelines and corporate standards.
• Know and follow all aspects of the Dispensing department manual
• Know how to run all packaging machines
• Thorough knowledge of all drug names, generic and trade name.
• Ability to dispense blister packs, ud boxes, “odd” medications (liquids, inhalers, creams, eye drops, etc.)
• Ability to process returns and breakdowns
• Replenish back up boxes, if necessary
• Process wholesaler orders
• Restocking medications for dispensing.
