Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy in Orlando, FL is seeking a Dispensing Pharmacist to work onsite at the CenterWell Dispensing Center. You will oversee accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications to patients, with responsibilities including checking labels, packaging, and content, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

This full-time position requires a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, Florida license, and ability to participate in federal prescription programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Active Pharmacist license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.
Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with computers.
Onsite full-time at the CenterWell dispensing Center located at 11010 Florida Crown Dr. Suite 200 Orlando, FL 32824.

Responsibilities

Help prepare prescriptions through a highly automated system.
Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders.
Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
Work with fellow health care team members.
Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy.
Process and check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill Braille and Talking Vial orders.
Research medication issues.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
