Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Dispensing Pharmacist 2 to work onsite at the Orlando CenterWell Dispensing Center. You will oversee the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medications to patients.

Responsibilities include preparing prescriptions through an automated system, verifying labels and orders, ensuring correct packaging and labeling, and collaborating with the health care team to maintain compliance with pharmacy laws. The role is full-time and based at 11010 Florida Crown Dr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Active Florida Pharmacist license.
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.
• Ability to solve problems and encourage collaboration.
• Work ethic: focused, accurate, and highly productive.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with computers.
• Onsite full-time at CenterWell dispensing Center, Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare prescriptions through a highly automated system.
• Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Work with fellow health care team members.
• Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy.
• Process and check for completeness and accuracy of Braille and Talking Vial orders.
• Research medication issues.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
