Qualifications

• Pharmacy Degree.
• Licensed in the State of Florida.
• Immunization certification.
• Checks and verifies prescriptions for accuracy, standard compliance, and dosing or dosage form errors, and adjusts documentation and labeling.
• Assure the workflow is optimized.
• Contribute to development of standards and procedures for achieving and maintaining high-quality patient care.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
• Maintain proper control and care of drug supplies and equipment. Follow SOP for out-of-stock notification.
• Monitor established quality assurance measurements for the department to meet goals and regulatory requirements.
• Signs and approves all compounded dispenses and sign log sheets for checking prepack labels before release for dispensing.
• Assist in pharmacy end-of-day closing and verifies SOPs have been followed.
• Maintain knowledge and proficiency in the dispensing and checking systems with acceptable verification rates and overall efficiency

Responsibilities

• Compound and dispense medications and other pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare and maintain records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory.
• Provide information to senior members on drugs and pharmaceuticals.
• Directly work with the patients and begin to influence department's strategy.
• Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components.
