Job summary

Springfield Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), part of Acadia Healthcare, is hiring a Dispensing Nurse (LPN/LVN) for its outpatient MAT program in Springfield, MA. The role focuses on medication administration, patient assessment, and nursing care within a fast-paced, team-based clinic.

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Massachusetts.
• Prefer 1 year in behavioral health or outpatient MAT.
• Experience in outpatient MAT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by Medical Director or physician, accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration in patient records promptly and accurately.
• Maintain inventory of medication stock in compliance with DEA/FDA and records.
• Account for medications received and dispensed with precision.
• Dedicate ~90% of work hours to medication administration; other duties as assigned.
• Conduct urine and/or blood tests, read results, and assist in monitoring outcomes.
• Complete documentation in MARs and clinic records per standards.
• Transport medication to other locations if needed; work on mobile unit as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
