Health Care Resource Center is seeking a detail oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense prescribed medications and support the treatment team. The role involves maintaining dispensing equipment, inventory, and reporting patient information in partnership with physicians and nursing supervisors.

The successful candidate will work within a substance use disorder treatment program, collaborating closely with counseling staff and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Competenze

• Must hold a current LPN license in Massachusetts and be in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with EMR systems or computer proficiency expected.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred; positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Mansioni

• Administer daily medications to patients per policy and protocols.
• Operate automated dispensing system and calibrate equipment.
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure security standards for distribution and storage of controlled substances.
• Order, receive, and stock medications per DEA and state regulations.
• Provide daily patient assessments.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor in orienting new staff.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
