Health Care Resource Center is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team. You will work with physicians and nursing supervisors to maintain dispensing equipment, manage inventory, and report patient treatment information.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, empathetic, and experienced in substance use disorder settings, with current MA LPN license and CPR, plus EMR proficiency.

Competenze

• Current & good standing LPN license in Massachusetts.
• CPR certification required.
• EMR & computer proficiency.
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred; positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Mansioni

• Administer daily medication to patients per program policy and medical protocols.
• Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.
• Produce and maintain records/reports per Company protocol and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with security standards for distribution/storage of controlled substances.
• Order, receive and stock medication per DEA and state regulations (if Power of Attorney).
• Provide daily assessment of patients.
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
• Perform other duties as determined by supervisor.
