Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a PRN LPN – Dispensing Nurse for the Montgomery County Methadone Center in Norristown, PA. The role offers flexible supplemental hours with a strong focus on patient-centered MAT care.

You will work with medical providers to manage medications, monitor patients, provide education, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record. This position requires a PA LPN/RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current PA LPN or RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, including MAT.
• Ability to obtain security clearance for correctional facilities.
• Active and valid driver’s license; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and communicate concerns to the provider.
• Document patient information, including vital signs and med history.
• Provide patient education on medication management and harm reduction.
• Conduct urine drug screenings as ordered and maintain EHR documentation.
• Maintain medication security and dispensing area per protocols.
• Enter medication orders into the EHR as prescribed.
