Job summary

Bud & Rita's in Chicago is seeking a results-driven Dispensary Manager to oversee daily operations, customer service, and compliance with state regulations. Qualifications

• 3+ years management experience required
• 2+ years cannabis retail experience required
• Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred
• Must pass a background check
• Must be 21 years of age; must possess a valid license or state ID
• Must be available to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulations
• Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service
• Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee
• Provide education and development for staff on cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms
• Create budgets and forecast sales based on retail principles
• Set sales, service, and profit goals and lead staff to exceed them
• Procure an adequate supply of quality products with the buyer
• Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
• Coach staff to ensure excellent service
• Implement and manage dispensary policies and procedures
• Document financial, inventory and customer trends; maintain reports
• Manage dispensary sales and inventory software
• Ensure employees follow company protocols
• Review performance of staff regularly
• Lead morning meetings to direct sales goals and address concerns
• Create a welcoming environment for staff and customers

Dispensary Manager Job Description

Position Overview

The Dispensary Manager oversees / facilitates the daily operations and transactions of the dispensary, handling the needs of all customers and developing a professional team that is passionate about cannabis. The Manager reports directly to the General Manager and works with Company leadership to ensure the facility's sound recordkeeping and compliance with local and state regulations. Priorities include the implementation of dispensary policies, oversight and management product inventory and development and supervision of dispensary staff. The Manager is also responsible for overseeing marketing, promotions and the maintenance of reports as they pertain to the daily operations and financials of the dispensary.

• Work closely with the buyer to procure an adequate supply of quality products
• Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling
• Communicate with and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in service
• Implement and manage dispensary policies and procedures directed by the company
• Document financial, Inventory and customer trends; maintain sales and purchasing reports
• Manage and maintain dispensary sales and inventory management software
• Ensure employees follow company protocols.
