Job summary

AYR Wellness, Inc. is seeking an Intake team member to be the first touchpoint for patients and customers at our Reno dispensary. You will greet visitors, process IDs, and guide new patients through services, while maintaining a clean front desk and lobby area.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to adapt to varied shifts. Prior experience in hospitality or retail is valued, with strict adherence to state cannabis regulations.

Qualifications

• Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.
• Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency.
• Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.
• Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers/caregivers and team members.
• Prior customer service experience in a hospitality, pharmacy, customer services or retail environment.
• Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and over the phone with a warm welcome.
• Process patients by validating IDs and entering data into POS.
• Answer phones and emails; check in patients and update files.
• Explain services to new patients.
• Become well educated with cannabis products offered and learn.
• Manage visitor access with Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Liaise with departments on security needs.
• Learn and perform new tasks as needed.
• Keep front desk and lobby clean, safe and guest-ready.
