Job Summary

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating activities involved in delivering products or services for CEMEX or customers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Liaise between Sales, Customers, and Terminal management.
2. Resolve customer concerns or issues promptly and satisfactorily.
3. Promote a safe work environment and team mentality.
4. Maintain D.O.T. driver’s hours of service logs for internal drivers or external contractors as needed.
5. Monitor equipment maintenance schedules to ensure D.O.T. compliance.
6. Collaborate with Terminal management to improve efficiency and output.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
3. 2-5 years of Customer Service Experience.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

1. Knowledge of cement and building materials.
2. Proficient in Windows Office suite.
3. Knowledge of trucking software preferred.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress office environment.

Working Conditions

1. Extended hours, including weekends, as necessary.
2. Standard office environment with computer equipment.
3. Open office environment capability.

Physical Requirements

1. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
2. Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
3. Regular communication through talking and hearing.
