Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Wind Crest community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Emergency Dispatcher to manage multiple Security & EMS systems from a central location and dispatch both emergency and routine calls with a focus on resident hospitality and safety.

You will monitor alarms and communications, coordinate with Security & Emergency Services Officers, and provide timely incident reports while maintaining calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in 911 call-taking/dispatching or Emergency Medical Services preferred.
• Ability to maintain composure and situational awareness during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Track all pertinent information during shift and initiate incident reports.
• Monitor Emergency Call System for independent living.
• Track status of residents involved in emergencies.
• Monitor Fire Alarm System.
• Dispatch ambulance, private ambulances, or 911 as needed.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00, based on experience

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly

WEEK 1: MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY – 6 AM - 6 PM

WEEK 2: SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY 6 AM – 6 PM

Night shift

WEEK 1: MONDAY, TUESDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY – 6 PM - 6 AM

WEEK 2: SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY 6 PM – 6 AM

How You Will Make An Impact

• Track all pertinent information during your shift, and initiate the first level of the incident report for Security and Emergency Services Officer completion
• Monitor the Emergency Call System for independent living
• Track the status of residents involved in emergency situations
• Monitor Fire Alarm System
• Dispatch ambulance, private ambulances, or 911 as needed

What You Will Need

• Prior experience in 911 call-taking/dispatching or Emergency Medical Services preferred
• Ability to maintain composure and situational awareness while dealing calmly with emergencies, ambiguity, and new challenges
• Effective communication skills with residents, visitors, and staff at all levels
