Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling in Miami is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to coordinate daily routes, communicate with Drivers, and support safe, efficient service across the operation.

You will monitor activity, adjust schedules as priorities shift, and collaborate with Operations, Customer Experience, and Maintenance to resolve issues while keeping customers satisfied. This role offers growth and a direct impact on daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Calm and able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Customer service mindset with cross-department collaboration.
• Experience using dispatch software or GPS technology is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily routes and communicate with Drivers and Operations.
• Monitor route progress and adjust schedules as operational needs change.
• Partner with Operations, Customer Experience, and Maintenance to resolve service issues.
• Communicate route changes, delays, and customer requests to field teams.
• Monitor vehicle locations and dispatch activity using company systems.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
• Balance safety, customer service, and efficiency amid changing priorities.
• Build positive relationships with Drivers and cross-functional teams.
• Support special projects and other operational initiatives.
