Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a part-time Public Safety Dispatcher to operate emergency lines and support campus safety operations. The role requires 18+, HS diploma, and clerical experience with background check clearance. Prior dispatcher, police, or fire experience preferred.
Responsibilities include operating emergency phones, two-way radios, monitoring cameras, and recording information for police services. Parking is free and sick leave is provided for part-time staff.
Responsible for performing public safety communications and relatedclerical duties to support college wide communications, in acentralized dispatch center.
Must be 18 years of age or older, with a High School Diploma or GEDand two years clerical and related experience. Must submit to andsuccessfully pass a comprehensive background investigation. Priorexperience as a dispatcher, police officer or fire fighterpreferred.
