We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Dispatcher to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Dispatcher serves as a key point of communication between customers and field technicians. This role is responsible for coordinating service appointments, managing technician schedules, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring efficient daily operations.

What you will do:

• Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls, maintenance appointments, and emergency repairs.
• Prioritize service requests based on urgency, technician availability, skill set, and geographic location.
• Monitor technician schedules throughout the day and make adjustments as needed to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Receive and respond to customer inquiries, service requests, and complaints via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Provide customers with service availability, estimated arrival times, and updates regarding delays or schedule changes.
• Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their service appointments.
• Coordinate emergency service requests and dispatch technicians promptly to meet customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technician activities, work orders, and service requests.
• Enter and update information within the company's dispatching and customer management systems.
• Generate and distribute reports related to service performance, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with technicians, customer service representatives, and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

What you will need:

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle escalated customer concerns professionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with the Greater Charleston service area.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends when business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous dispatching experience within the home services industry, including:
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
• Experience dispatching service technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, or other field service management software.
• Knowledge of scheduling best practices, routing, and technician capacity management.
