Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. in Plano, TX seeks a Dispatcher I to help keep our truck fleet running on time, ensure DOT compliance and accurate order processing. You will collaborate with haulers, weigh masters, plant and sales teams, and customers to optimize operations.

This role emphasizes safety, reliable transportation, and strong communication in a growing, inclusive construction solutions company that values hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of industry experience.
• Refined computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Promote Zero Accidents & Incidents to all operations.
• Engage with customers, haulers and weigh masters to reinforce safe behaviors.
• Assist with annual Transportation Safety Initiatives for haulers.
• Identify substitute products, operating hour adjustments, and service opportunities.
• Maintain communication with plant and sales, and coordinate with customers and haulers.
• Maintain hauler directory and professional relationships.
• Perform daily admin duties: non-ticketed paperwork, reports, filing, phones.
• Track scale information and produce reports to identify trends.
• Require reliable personal transportation to offsite locations on short notice.
• Conduct spot inspections/audits to ensure DOT compliance.
• Collaborate with Weigh Masters, Territory Sales Managers, Gate Keepers, Supervisors, and others.
• Commit to safety policies and PPE usage.
