Job summary

Peaden Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking a Service Dispatcher to coordinate daily service calls and pair the right technician with the right job at the right time.

The role requires strong communication, decision-making, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while delivering an outstanding customer and technician experience.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching experience preferred in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to prioritize changing workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate incoming service calls and prioritize work based on urgency.
• Dispatch the appropriate technician for each service call.
• Communicate accurate job information to field technicians.
• Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Keep customers informed with timely updates on arrival and status.
• Record and manage service calls accurately.
• Assist in training and mentoring new dispatch team members.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, technicians, and leadership to maximize efficiency.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support continuous improvement of dispatch operations and customer experience.

The Opportunity

As a Service Dispatcher, you'll play a critical role in our daily operations by coordinating service calls and matching the right technician to the right job at the right time.

This position requires excellent communication, sound decision-making, and the ability to balance changing priorities while delivering an outstanding experience for both customers and technicians.

What You'll Do

• Support continuous improvement of dispatch operations and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• Previous dispatching experience preferred, ideally within the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Professional phone and computer skills.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar dispatch software is a plus.
