Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate delivery activities between management, sales, and the yard. You will group and route loads according to geographic areas and assist with load building and freight handling as needed.

The role requires strong communication, time management and organizational skills, with the ability to lift up to 80 pounds when necessary. You will work with invoicing, POS and inventory systems to ensure accurate deliveries.

• Call clients to confirm all details and serve as liaison between sales and the crews
• Coordinate delivery times and total hours for load building, checking and staging
• Schedule routing of area/market delivery equipment to reduce delivery expense & increase efficiency
• Prepare delivery analyses to improve delivery efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries
• Utilize various companywide systems including Invoicing, POS, and Inventory
• Be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
