Julius Silvert is seeking a highly organized Dispatcher to join our growing team. Our family-owned business has served customers along the east coast for over a century and values every team member.

We want someone with dispatcher experience in a fast-paced environment and a desire to grow. Responsibilities include tracking drivers, providing ETA updates, resolving issues with vendors, and supporting invoicing and customer requests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience dispatching dealing with 30+ drivers.
• Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• TMS skills preferred; Road Net and Omni Tracs familiarity.
• MS Office proficiency: Excel, Word & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Track all drivers throughout the day.
• Send regular driver status updates as requested.
• Respond to ETA requests.
• Record concerns or feedback from drivers and escalate as needed.
• Answer dispatch calls; resolve issues or bring to supervisor.
• Assist drivers with issues at vendors; resolve discrepancies.
• Support invoicing, billing updates, and returns.
• Respond to customer shipment status requests in a timely manner.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Transportation Management.
