The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking Dispatchers to assist students and campus employees via phone, email, and in-person responses. This position entails answering multiple phone lines, dispatching officers, and providing assistance during emergencies while maintaining calm in a busy environment.
You will be required to work a fluctuating schedule across 24-hour shifts that include holidays, nights, and weekends. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
The Department of Security Dispatchers assists students and campus employees via phone, email, and in‑person and responds appropriately to 911 or non‑emergency calls. Dispatchers also provide administrative support and perform secondary administrative and clerical duties.
Dispatchers work an 80‑hour pay cycle with a fluctuating schedule during a 24‑hour, 7‑day‑a‑week operation, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
