Qualifications

5+ years of Dispatch/Customer Service experience needed.

Responsibilities

Plan and assign delivery routes to drivers.

Train and guide drivers on processes.
Schedule preventative maintenance for trucks.
Serve as a point of escalation for drivers.

Skills

We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with occasional weekend work.

Job Summary:

The Dispatcher will work with Drivers to plan and assign delivery routes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Plan and assign drivers to delivery routes
Creates and communicates work schedules to drivers
Communicate effectively with customers and vendors
Understand processes and procedures and provide training and guidance to drivers
Schedule Preventative Maintenance, inspections and washes for trucks and trailers
Work with internal departments
Serve as first point of escalation for drivers when issues arise
Familiar with ELD technology (Samsara a plus)
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel Outlook, etc.)
A CDL Class A license is a plus, but not required
