Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor in Thorofare, NJ to oversee driver owner/operator activities, including pick-up, delivery, port interaction, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with warehouses and manage performance across dispatch, customer service, brokerage, and maintenance teams. The role requires experience with trucking operations, strong communication, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of related experience or training.
• Strong knowledge of trucking processes and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Flexible schedule: some evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and track port, store delivery and LTL drivers.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations managers for efficient flow of product.
• Oversee dispatch, customer service, brokerage and maintenance within transportation.
• Maintain equipment and ensure service levels per SLAs.
• Minimize driver turnover and optimize revenue per truck.
